When commenting on other people’s blogs, it is important to stay on topic and be constructive, not rude.  Also, make sure to use proper grammar and positive words because commenting is meant to help, not hurt, people.  Capitilaztion and punctuation can make all the difference when posting on other blogs.   Commenting on blogs can fix a problem in someone’s blogs or give them new ideas to add.  Whether you agree or disagree, it is important to show that all opinions count.

Good example: This was an extremely informative post.  I like how you gave good and bad examples to support your claim.  It would be really awesome to see a follow up post about this topic!

Bad example: i do not agree with your opinion at all, it is wrong.  i definitely think you should have written…

 

For Activity 4 of Week 2 I commented on Lola and Olivia’s “All About Me” posts.  I did this becuase they creativley expressed their informtion and I learned more about them after reading their posts. I also commented on Mia and Lauren’s post about commenting because I thought they were very informative and would help me comment on people’s posts.

I created my avatar using the website http://www.buildyourwildself.com with features that are very similar to my own.  This virtual representation has short brown hair and tan skin.  My avatar is also wearing a plain black shirt because I love to wear comfortable and plain clothing that make me feel confident and happy.

Online, as well as in real life, I persist to portray myself as a positive, happy person.  Whether it is complimenting people or cheering people up, my attitude towards others is equal in both worlds.  How I represent myself is a vital thing and I always make sure people will see me in the best possible light.  My caring, but wild personality can be shown through the internet, based on how I write and act towards online and offline friends.  I try to be modest and kind to everyone both online and in real life.  I believe that personality and character are things that define a person and that they should always radiate from people through all forms of communication.
